Our Mission

We started Tranquil Nest with one simple yet profound aim which is to create a sanctuary, a safe haven, much like a nest, where you can rest your mind, heal, and transform in a nurturing space.

Each session is thoughtfully designed to guide you into deep relaxation and the center of awareness, a place of stillness and rest that resides within each of us. 

​

We offer a boutique experience in an intimate, small-group setting, ensuring a discreet, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you feel fully supported. Whether you're here to unwind, reflect, or re-connect, our peaceful space welcomes you into a soothing world of sound.

Sound healing is for everyone, regardless of religion, gender, race, or nationality. With compassionate intention, we hold space for you, honoring your unique journey as you realign with the harmony already within.

We invite you to come with an open heart and mind to experience the vibrational energy of sound. Our cozy, tranquil space is located on the Northern Beaches- Davidson 2085.

What Is Sound Healing?

With so much noise around and within, silence becomes a sanctuary. Silence is a gift. It helps us finds calm and return to ourselves.

 

One effective way to cultivate calm is through sound healing. This meditative practice harnesses the power of resonant vibrations produced by instruments such as Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, chimes, drums, and rain sticks. These sounds don’t just soothe the mind and body, they also help shift stagnant or stale energy, creating space for renewal and flow. As the vibrations wash over you, they can guide you into a trance like state, quieting mental chatter and gently breaking the default mode network, which is the part of the brain that is active during daydreaming, self talk, and overthinking. For those who wish to go deeper, sound healing becomes a gateway to your inner world. It invites you into a still point, a place of deep rest and awareness, where you can unwind, reflect, and often experience moments of clarity, peace, and personal transformation.

About Me

Hello, my name is Mei Saan. I'm so glad you're here!

 

A little bit about myself. I'm a certified Sound Healing Practitioner, a yoga enthusiast, a cat lover, and someone who finds peace in nature. I am passionate about the art of sound healing and meditation.

 

My journey in finding inner peace began with the quest to 'tame' my monkey mind through the practice of meditation. It was a challenging quest, especially for a chronic overthinker like me. Then, in 2016, I stumbled upon a sound healing session in a yoga studio back in Hong Kong. The experience was nothing short of transformative. For the first time ever, I felt an incredible lightness, both physically and mentally. It was as if an electric current was flowing through my spine, immersing me completely in the moment. No thoughts, just pure awareness and joy. A true awakening for the senses! That session gave me a glimpse into the essence of pure awareness; the very thing I had been searching for!

 

Since then, sound healing has become a powerful tool in my journey. It helps me enter into a meditative state with ease, the chatter in my mind became less frequent, and a lot quieter. I'm able to organise my thoughts more clearly, feel calmer, and sleep better. Over time, as I continued integrating sound healing into my life, my perspective began to shift. I became more grounded, more present and more connected to conscious living.

​Fast forward to today, and here I am... devoted to spread love and healing through sound healing, helping others embrace their own healing gifts. I received this gift in the past, and I want to pass it on to you and others.     

​

p/s: I still fumble every now and then, but I move with ease and confidence, knowing I have the tools to navigate the road ahead. I'm grateful for every step I've taken... and honestly? I'm loving every moment of it :))
